ISUZU VX-O2

Isuzu intends to build several hundred copies of the VX-O2, a two- place open-air edition of its VehiCROSS sport-ute, complete with a retractable hard top and Torque-On-Demand four-wheel drive. Isuzu has also fitted eighteen-inch wheels and tires, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, and an active ride control system with adjustable shocks. In keeping with the speedster theme, the VX-O2 features a cut-down windshield and a sculpted tonneau cover with built-in storage compartments. An integral rear wing, projector-beam foglamps, and front, rear, and side skid plates are also part of the package. The concept vehicle has leather-trimmed Recaro Sport bucket seats with integrated speakers and microphones, which can access the Clarion AutoPC system via voice-activated electronics. You can also dock your Palm Pilot in the center console or store your Dr. Pepper in a temperature-controlled cup holder.
