This amazing mod will change your halogen lights to High Intensity Discharge lights with some really amazing reach - the difference is amazing. This kit plugs into your existing harness so there are no wires to cut. Also, they have a halogen high beam, so you have both for your DMV vehicle inspections.

The downside is that you get flashed a lot - this is an order of magnitude of additional light to the sides and ahead of the VX. They also get pretty hot compared tot he standard headlight bulb. I bought the kit initially from Tone Monday but later upgraded to a different kit (the ballast on one side went bad after a few years).

Initially I went with the easiest upgrade - to Super White Xenon H4 bulbs - but they were only brighter and no where near actual HIDs.
