I got hooked on OEM mud-guards while owning a Honda almost 20 years ago. You can't go wrong with the way these integrate with a "custom" look on the VX. I never understood why Isuzu didn't bring these to the US - they seem to be a logical upgrade. The upside is that they keep much of the mud from sticking to the undersides and sides of the cladding - the downside is that if you rock crawl they can sometimes get stuck between the tire and the trail - they were also fairly expensive as they're really beefy.
