Plastic VehiCROSS Toys in 1:15 Scale

Kidz Fun Remote Control Wild Runner Cruiser 1:15 Scale Plastic Detail

These are large-scale, around 1:15 coming in with the overall length of the VX body at 9" with a mold originally cast as a fully-licensed toy by Asahi in Japan and sold exclusively at Toys-R-Us in three colors (black, silver and copper/red). These were fairly expensive as I recall at around $70 USD but had full remote control. It's basically a VX shell on an available 4x4 undercarriage. They're pretty  hard to find boxed these days but I did see on recently sold loose and unworking on one of the Japanese auction sites (not sure how much it sold for but it did sell).

At some point the mold was either sold or shared so knock-offs started appearing in Europe and Asia around 2004 and continued up until 2010 or so - the last use I found was in an unpowered plastic SUV you pushed around by hand.
